Rhenocoll was founded as a family owned company in 1948. Today the company is still family owned, in the 2nd generation, lead and managed by Mr. Werner Zimmermann. The product range manufactured by Rhenocoll includes wood adhesives & stains, varnishes, furniture lacquers & stains, coatings for uPVC, aluminum and glass.

Rhenocoll has a long standing experience in the development and production of environmentally friendly and water-based paints, lacquer, varnishes and adhesives. The export share is 85% with over 75 countries served.

In recent decades, Rhenocoll has been a pioneer in the development of environmentally friendly products, including products for the application in an industrial processing context. We were awarded the Economic Affairs Innovation Prize by the Federal Minister in 2005 and 2009. In 2007 we have been awarded by the Federal President of Germany.

Protected by a worldwide patent, Rhenocoll's latest development is a mineral mixture based on the model of nature. Our specific raw material selection makes the conventional equipment against bacteria, mold, fungi and putrefactive agents unnecessary.
